CARE AND CLEANING OF PEWTER
With the minimum of care your pewterware will keep its original finish and shine. It should be washed in warm soapy water or in a mild detergent solution and dried with a soft cloth before and after use.
If through neglect pewter takes on a patina, the original finish can be restored by polishing with a non-abrasive metal polish. Dishwasher are not to be used due to the very high temperatures and rather strong detergents.
